Jill has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a master in business administration from the University of Dallas. She worked for 9 years in the telecommunications industry at various companies including Sprint PCS, where she was the RF engineering design manager for Sprint's cellular networks, and at Nortel Networks, where she supported the development of cellular network equipment. She has been a stay-at-home mom for the last 8 years.
Jill is an active volunteer in her community. She has been a volunteer with the Grapevine Senior Movers for the last 7 years, providing transportation for local senior citizens to and from their doctor's appointments. She is also an active volunteer at Timberline Elementary, taking care of the PTA merchant services fundraising and spending several hours each week reshelving books in the primary reading room. She also volunteers at her church, organizing vacation bible school programs, helping with teen retreats and sponsoring engaged couples. She has organized outreach activities, including collections for Honduras children and an activity for the children of Catholic charities.
Jill spends a lot of her free time playing volleyball in the Grapevine Recreation Center league and also helps coach her daughter's volleyball team.
